Performance (Forest, 10 volunteers, packed edible ingredients, stuffed deer head)
LIQUID CREATURES was a one night only walk in the forest, based on the derives of the situationist movement and the theories about liquid modernity by Zygmunt Baumann.
THE PERFORMANCE unfolded as a nocturnal procession through the forest — part ritual, part concert, part collective dream. The audience was guided by a strange hostess, black metal tourists, silver-clad women and a neon keyboardist, encountering altars of glowing shells, soft lights and shifting sounds along the path. In a clearing, volunteers and guests shared a meal, music and phosphorescent slime, forming a brief fellowship under the banner Power is a Hidden Force. What began as a walk became a temporary society — fragile, absurd and tender — where strangers mirrored each other in the flicker of a small lake and bass tones. For a moment, we imagined another way of being together, before descending the mountain as if nothing had happened.
The performance was made possible with the support from Bergen kommune.
